Emirates Photography Society, is a non-profit organization based in Sharjah and operating under the Sharjah Government. Dedicated to nurturing the creative talents of local Arab individuals in the field of photography, ranging from beginners and hobbyists to seasoned professionals. EPS, aims to develop and refine photographic skills, showcase local emerging talents, and foster a vibrant photography culture ,through active participation in local exhibitions and collaborations with organizations at the local, Arab, regional, and international levels.

•Time-Lapse Photography Workshop – 23 August 2025

•For the first time, We successfully hosted a Time-Lapse Photography Workshop at the society’s headquarters in Sharjah on 23 August 2025. The session was led by renowned Arab photographer and our KOL, Mr. Tala Mustafa Abu Dashish.

•This two-hour workshop attracted over 30 Arab nationals, ranging from enthusiasts to emerging professionals. Participants gained valuable insights into the art and techniques of time-lapse photography, and had the exclusive opportunity to test some of the latest SIGMA lenses, including:

•SIGMA 200mm F2

•SIGMA 12mm F1.4

•SIGMA 17-40mm F1.8

•SIGMA 16-300mm

•While Canon and Sony have long been key supporters of the Emirates Photography Society, the involvement of SIGMA for the first time marks a significant milestone. This new collaboration was well received by both the participants and the organizers, and they expressed their satisfaction with the event. Our support is seen as a major boost to the society, paving the way for more collaborative activities in the future.
